  1. Looks like a fun fly to tie. And thanks for the additional tips on how to fish it.
  2. Thanks for the input. That's a good idea and something I will certainly try.
  3. It's a Hareline plummeting tungsten bead 3/32" in gold. Purchased it at a local fly shop along with the other materials.
  4. Size 18 zebra midge with an ice dub UV black collar. Got a touch heavy with the dubbing. Oh, well.
  5. Prince nymph. I could replce it with split shot and get better results.
  6. In my area, a zebra midge fishes year round so that'd be my choice.
  7. Greetings from Central Oregon. New to fly tying but the intro class I took got me hooked. Spend my time chasing trout on the Deschutes, Crooked and Fall rivers primarily. Tightlines everyone.
