LOL......the reason for the hilary joke was someone on another site that i am a part of posted a link to a animated skit with hilary dancing around in a bikini ..it had her real face on a cartoon body with cellulite and everything ...............i cant get that out of my head...i think i'm scared for life......

Bigdaddy i know exactly what you mean...and you should see the way some of the beautiful rivers here in michigan are treated by some people. I do the same thing when i fish....i will fish up stream and then pick up the trash i saw on the way back. In july i rolled a manhole cover about a 1/8 mile down a trail to the parking lot at an access. It was in the river can you tell me how or why a manhole cover got in a river because i dont know. Steelheader69 i think you are 100% correct it is the way you were raised....i was raised to respect the outdoors and i always make sure to keep my junk in my vest. I even put my cigarette butts in my vest pocket after i put them out. Some people are just plain slobs and dont give a damn and then there are the people that just think ...well someone else will pick it up. The best way to combat the junk on the rivers is to help on river clean up days......and to raise your kids with respect for the outdoors! Good post guys

Hey OSD hows it going......nope i havent even heard of that one,got some decent fly fishing scenes?

My Renzeti vice came with one and i had never used one till i got that vise,never thought i needed to have one. Now i dont think i could do a fly without one....it just makes things alot easier with it.

River Wild with kevin bacon has about a 30 sec. scene. A movie with alan alda as some bigwig of a company that takes his partners for a river rafting trip i think had a scene.

SmallieHunter you should do well on the PM the fish are in the system all the way to the fly only water. It sounds like its getting better with each passing day,i'm hittin the PM this weekend myself and each weekend after this for at least the next month. Good luck to ya! Steeldrifter

Just found the site and wanted to say hi,looks like this is a very good tying site and glad to be a part of it. I have been tying for the past 7-8 years but know that i do some things the wrong way so i look forward to getting some advice and tips. I live in michigan and fish/tie for trout/salmon/steelhead.
