Went out again today just a different stretch. Had fun even tho the fish weren't big. Caught 7 in total using the pt

Trees got very fed fish not so much.

Nope bass got off he let tension off cause I fell. And he is just about as interested as he was before.

After this morning I need to re plenish my hares ears! Also need more indicators. Trees need to eat to!

First Catskill attempt.

This weekend we went camping at a campgroud about 40 minutes from our house. With a lake across the street it is a perfect place. Took my fly rod and made them eat the stoneflopper i was having fun and it was getting dark and time to walk back. Next night i took my brother along to try to get him wanting to use a fly rod. Started hooking fish then handing him the rod so he could fight them and we were both into it. Finaly hooked a better bass and i got really exiteced for him to bring it in and as i was handing him the rod i took a step to many off the dock and fell into the water. Water was shallow and weedy so i came out looking like a monster. Had my bag on my back and phone in my pocket so i will be on my computer until its done in the rice.

It is a pretty cool video. A few have landed in my box already.

Thank you Pbass! Once I get some sort of decorative thing for my desk these will be on there. Also I have videos of me tying around that time, would show them but they make me want to pull my hair out!

One year ago today marked the start of my fly tying journey and obsession. After getting a kit for Christmas I dug it out on this day and started playing around with whatever I could get to work. At this point I didn't know how to whip finish so I would glue the heads until they didn't unwrap 😂 would always send them to my grandpa and he said they looked like they came from a shop. I cannot believe how far I have come in only a year in my tying. Without fly tying I dont know what i would do, probably just loose my mind like the rest of the world 🤷‍♂️
