2 minutes ago, niveker said:Nice, what does your blend consist of? I usually just use the fluff off the base of a turkey breast feather with a little flashy synthetic dubbing for a collar, brushed out. Does okay.
This blend is mostly peacock black ice dub with some red and gold mixed in.

Put together a little leech pattern for bass and crappie for the winter and figured I'd make a video on it.

I've recently been focusing a lot on tying articulated streamers. I mainly fish small ponds with bass up to 2 or 3 pounds. The water conditions vary a lot depending on the day but generally it's a little muddy. What articulated patterns do you guys use for bass? I'd love to see any and all ideas.

Figured I'd put out a video on this fly since it's one of my favorite streamer patterns and is super simple.

I've been interested in making a hovering dragonfly pattern for a while now but recently the bass have really heated up on them so I'm gonna get to work. Let me know if you have any ideas and I'll start posting pics when I get to work.

I've been tying a lot of chubby chernobyl flies and catching a ton of bass and panfish so I figured I'd share this video with you.
All input is appreciated.

Have you tried a thin exercise band? I've made flies like this before and they work well.

I recently started a tying and fishing blog and put out my first post which is on this little bluegill bug. For those interested here's the link: https://fliesandfinesse.blogspot.com/2021/06/tying-bullet-head-bluegill-bug.html?m=1

I'm sending some flies to this guy up in Oregon and he mainly fishes for lake trout, salmon, and steelhead with streamers. What patterns would you suggest I send up to him?

Messed around at the vise for a while trying to come up with a solid zonker pattern that would work as a leech imitation for largemouth in ponds amnd as a sculpin imitation for smallies and redeye bass in creeks and this is what i came up with.
