  1. I find it easy for international ( Canada ) to send $ in whatever currency the sm is in ( U.S.A) and either get the change back. But just my opinion and works for me so far as long as the sm is ok with doing it.
  2. Glad they made it. Thanks. They’re not perfect but the fish don’t mind. A classic that always works for me when fishing trout in Canada.
  3. I’ll take the elk hair caddis, in the mail tomorrow hopefully. I’ll try Canada post I’ve had good luck with them so far.
  4. Nice ties . The crime seen- this happens about 10 minutes after I clean the tying bench . Every time
  5. The brown mallard kinda blends into the hackle. next fly sparkle pupa if anyone ties thos ?
  6. Niveker you’re right tons of black squirrels in canada, I swear in southern Ontario they’re the size of a small dog. And not afraid of people.
  7. Grohmann makes some nice knives. I little bit expensive but would probably last you a life time. I’ve used them for years no complaints I’ve cut salmon up to 25 pounds with the 8” blade easy . Rapalas and inexpensive brands are good also.
  8. I live in northern ontario. A lot of the lakes are stocked every year. If you can do the work and trek into these places it’s well worth it. But better be prepared. I’ve driven down dirt roads for 3 to 4 hrs and there is no cell phone service lol and winter through the ice seems to be when the big ones are caught
  9. I use a clinch and always use my forceps to hold the ring. Never had it tangle up. I’ve been using partridge rings lately.
  10. It’s always the ones that are the closest, sometime things have to go to a sorting facility further than the recipient and then back. But on the bright side there’s still 5 feet of ice on the lakes ! In some places anyway
  11. Good to hear ! And not a problem when you just hang on to old flies for decades why not let a few go and have a new home. Yes been snowing here for a few days can’t keep up but it’s better than -40 c everyday.
  12. Same here and it’s hard to ice fish with a fly rod. Though I do use some beaded nymphs through the ice.
