  1. plumbob, it was good to see you there. I forgot your real name, so I couldn't place who you were. I know, I should have asked. I will remember to introduce myself next time. I did get your picture though. By the way, who was the tyer that was making minnow bodies with hot glue and a mold? I was the picture taker of our tandem, and didn't remember to get his name for my images. It was good to see some old tying buddies and meet some new ones as well. I didn't meet every tyer, but then that will make me "have" to go back next year. I am already looking forward to the Somerset show in January. MrBones
  2. I don't like eating any fish. Hate 'em all. I just can't stand the taste, and I have tried many different cooking styles, and recipes, what ever my wife orders for herself, I take a nibble. I tried styles from RI down the Hatteras and on to SC. Give me a steak or ribs, and I am in heaven. :headbang: I love fishing though.!!! MrBones
  3. Try here... http://rotaryflytying.com/ and here... http://www.btsflyfishing.com/ I haven't seen either one, so I can not compare them. MrBones
  4. Don, the best of luck for your wife with the upcoming surgery and speedy recovery. We'll add her to our prayers and keep you in mind as well. MrBones (T & D in Berwick)
  5. Don, I want to tell ya, the best of luck for your wife with the upcoming surgery and speedy recovery. We'll add her to our prayers and keep you in mind as well. MrBones (T & D in Berwick)
  6. also, there is flysource at flysource.net. I don't use the share part, but I do like the copy and paste part instead of typing in each step/material. MrBones
  7. Well, lets see....I have over $2200.00 invested in my vise collection alone. In the thirty years of tying flies, all but 2 commercially, I wouldn't even dare or want to estimate materials value. I know there are many here that have more than I do too. MrBones
  8. MTtyer, also isolate the fly. Elevate the fly (vise or mini clip) and place a nondescript background many inches away from the fly. MrBones
  9. Thanks Art, I looked, I thought, everywhere. The little buggers were hiding on me. MrBones
  10. Artimus, I have to ask, how did you override the program to be able to save them separate from their program? Thanks for the headsup. MrBones
  11. I'll be there bright and early. MrBones
  12. Don, I'll be there also, see ya there. Sorry I didn't get back to your booth at Somerset, you had a crowd though. "T.B. from Berwick" MrBones

  14. Don, will there be a Trout Kickoff in Williamsport this year or is it already passed? Tom
  15. Shaq, I may be able to dig something up from down here in PA. Charles Meck wrote an article for Pennsylvania Angler years ago of mayfly hatches and cooresponding plant blooms. I don't think he went in depth, but at least some information. It may take some time, I'll see what I can find. MrBones
