  7. Same here - it decomposes a bit to fast in my opinion. Resently i tried som "Nymph Skin" a material witch have the same possibilities as latex. I havent seen it rut yet, and i think they may have don somthing about the problem. And then there is "condoms" as you might know - they coms in a lot of colours, and with flavors too !!! I heard from a sailor. Some years ago a fly called "Condom fly" vas popular for sea trout here in Denmark. But still - go for the "Nymph skin" - It vas ment for flytying. :hyst: :hyst: :hyst: :hyst: :hyst: :hyst:

  9. Take a look at "Art of Angling Jurnal" Vol 1, issue 3. Here is an artikel written by Paul D Miller, on feathers from a bird called "Gray Rhea" This bird looks a lot like a Emu, and if the feathers also are alike i think you have som good stuf. This bird are also known as "Nandhu" and i have a lot of dull gray feathers from this bird. They have different structure, som are like ostric, and others looks like the ones on your picture. So far I have not tyed many flies with them, because of the color, but if i could dye them I think they could be usefull for som saltwater flies. Ostfyn
