that stinks, I had to put my husky down a year and a half ago that was hard but her quality of life was taking its toll somedays she could barely get up to walk. do you think you will be able to visit some day with him? At least one thing you know is he went to a good home too.

Ty Flyer.. Thea Ausable wullf is pattern that was developed by the late , great Fran Betters that works very well. He was from Wilmington NY just outside of Lake Placid and fished the West Branch of the Au sable river there and designed many flies there.

I've been looking at it thru binoculars also for the past couple weeks when we would have clear nights, not to many of those nowadays though...Did get to see the tail though earlier in the month/and end of dec..

it was well worth the trip....Friday lots of people were catching fish..I got there late afternoon so only got about an hour on stream missed 2.....reports from tha last couple days says they have been nailing the fish

Well that was one hell of a weekend ....friday was fishable saturday was blown out..lots of rain made river unwaadeable and very tough to fish to say the least...friday flow 2000cfs saturday think they said it peaked at 14000 cfs around noon ish .....high and chocolatey

Hope your conditions are better than what we ahd this wekend..friday water was fishable but I go tup there late...poured all night friday into sat morning river went from 2000 cfs to i think they said 14000.....high and muddy..still fished but nothing on my line Good luck this weekend when you go up
