  3. I have seen jointed bass flies. they remind me of rapala jointed minnows. i kno that they leave the rear hook in tact and cut the front hook off at the bend or something like that, but i dont know exactly what to do. i have constructed the rear half of one of these flies and am now at a stuck point. if anyone could give me a tutorial on how to do this i wouldn be very happy. thanks.
  4. WOW i love it! im gonna tie a few of those, color one in "black widow" pattern, and delicatley place it somewhere in my parentss bed  , hook point removed of course
  5. i am yet to catch a bass on a fly, and need some largemouth flies. im kinda lookin for baitfish flies, and crawfish. of course, anything else will work. how well do mice work? i might tie one or two up to try. thanks!

  7. i used to tie muddlers alot when i was first learning to spin deer hair. when i fished them they always floated cuzza the deer hair being hollow and everything. i thought they immitated a minnow, sculpin actually, so i thought it was dumb that they floated and stopped using them. i have never seen a minnow hop around on the surface like a cricket or sumthing. is there a way to make them not float? besides using sinking line?
