    Fly Database

im havin some problemz with the fly pattern database. first of all....down where it lists the page numbers, there is a single "1" and then a gazilion "2's" follow it. also up top where it says list by...and has links to like...species, imitation, and stuff like that, none of those work for me. now the list by links have NEVER worked for me, but i just noticed the page number problem this morning.
  2. LMAO!!!!! I THINK THIS GUY IS A JOKE!!!!!!! i couldnt understand a single sentence from him. :hyst: :hyst: :hyst: :hyst: :hyst: :hyst:
  3. yeah still havent heard from him........
  4. thanks riffle. but i was lookin more for a crease fly where the entire thing is the crease body. kinda like the ones that Zippy ties.
  5. wow that looks amazing! cant wait to see the finished product. what are those eyes made of?
  6. i'd like to make some sinking crease type flies for bass to imitate shad....how do i go about doing this?
  7. C'MON GUYS LETS FILL THIS ONE UPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!! :yahoo: :yahoo:
  8. thats ok riffle! ill definitley let you know when it gets here....should be here by early next week...
  9. well we put another 34 BIG bluegill in there, so that either brings it up to 80 sumthin fish or 100 sumthin fish. im not sure. but the ones we put in today are average 7"-8".
  10. i really want to and plan on putting bass in it, but i havent had the chance to yet. tomorrow i am most likely gonna get some more gills to put in there.
  11. ok well riffleriversteelheadslayer was kind enough to send me a big patch of deer hair from a taxidermist, so it looks like i'll be in with a letort hopper whenever the hair gets here. idk what size though.
  12. aww man i realy want in this one but i just dont have enough deer hair (or money to buy more). sorry!
  13. ok well i guess ill just stick to using the fly then.
  14. o i see now...its upside down. i didnt recognize it at first. dont i feel dumb
  15. i went down there with an orange, chartruse, and pink foam spider adn got absolutely no hits, not even one fish LOOKED at it. then i tried some bread on a tiny trebel hook and caught one fish. the fish wouldnt even eat the bread if i threw it out there with no hook! i just think that pond has died and gone to hell :cursing:
  16. well thats great! what ill do is ill fish this fly, and if i get hits, then ill bring some live goldfish the next time i go.
  17. yeah i have some. they are the googly eye kind, so they are solid white, and i dont think that would look too good though. it would be better if they were yellow or soemthin.
  18. how come my fly isnt in there!?!? didnt you get a montanna stone in that package?
  19. well heres a pic of the fly. due to the flash and contrast, the orange looks very red, but in reality its more orange than red.
  20. if you go to youtube and type in feeding bass, this is the first link to come up: well those bass are goin nuts over goldfish and yes i realize that they are trained to eat them, but it got me wonderin if wild bass will go for goldfish. they sell them VERY cheap at pet stores and could make some excellent bait. well then that got me thinkin, what if i made a disco minnow and colored it orange and yellow! does anyone know how well goldfish or goldfish flies work for the fishies?
  21. sounds cool! those shad-type color schemes look promising. also...a bluegill type pattern would attract the attention of any largemouth!
  22. what exactly is easy body? is it a material or technique? are there any step by steps for some of the flies shown above?
  23. i was wonderin the same. i'd really like to get these flies for this swap! it has been pretty unactive lately.....
