  1. Great Zonkers LuciV! Those would rack up the steel on the Lake O tribs!!
  2. Wa-hoo! Mine came today! Great ties everyone and thanks to FC for hosting!! :headbang:
  3. Nice stuff Uffe!! Over weaving with a second color like that gives it depth!!
  4. OK, I'm in! Thornton-style emerger.
  5. Got mine today too! Wa-hoo!! Thanks everyone and thanks to Dean for hosting!
  6. Any of the standard (and even non-standard) nymph patterns will catch steel if tied in blue and purple!!
  7. You can keep my extras FC. Get 'em wet and catch some steel!
  8. I'll try to keep it quiet, but if she pressures me, I'll blab like there's no tomorrow!!
  9. You can check mine at the door, if you must, but I'm giving out free Togen's hooks to everyone, so there will be plenty around for you to get lost in your hair! Uh-oh . . . . . I don't know if you can trust me with a whole box of hooks. They'll end up in everyone's hair as well as mine!!!!!
  10. Mine are in the mail today. Thanks for hosting Dean!
  11. Sounds like a hoot Mike! Sorry I couldn't be there! We'll have to check your hook boxes at the door for the November GFP!
  12. Mine went out today so the pony express should have them to you in a few days. Thanks for hosting FC!
  13. Glad to hear you Gents came through OK. Looks like you may need to tie up a few PFD's if the season gets worse from here on in!!
  14. I've got a case of beer, my PFD, two cans of spam and 3/4 tank of gas. I can be there my morning!!!
  15. I'm seeing it differently than both you guys!!! (must tie better than Redwings and oatka . . . .)
  16. Got mine as well!! Wa-hoo, scuds galore! Thanks to everyone for participating and thanks to Spanky for hosting!
  17. The only scuds here are the ones in the pond :dunno:
  18. Got the bugs in the mail today!! Great stuff everyone! Thanks to all who tied two flys. Big E, you were supposed to keep the extras I sent. I'll send them back to you in the next swap!
  19. I can always tie it in #32 Bud, but that small, the other flys pick on them when they're at the playground . . . .
  20. OK, I'm in. Something tiny . . . .How anout my special midge egg-sac fly . . . . . .all right, I'll do a #26 Amber Emerger
  21. Got mine today as well! Wa-hoo! Can't wait to get them wet!
  22. Looks like those dubbing containers could double for specimen jars for all those good bugs you find on the river. . . .
  23. Bud, I looked up the info on the Ramseys web site. They had scud back by Wapsi, which is the stuff I'm using, and presumably the stuff that you got. It takes marker very well, textured one side and is a good scud back. Many times, I need a bit thicker scud back and that's when I start trying other materials. One other good one I've used for bigger applications is called Dura Skin from D's Flys in Denver. It works well, but doesn't stretch as well as the Wapsi scud back. I need to find a material that has both qualities. . .
  24. You can't just throw it away!! Use the tattered pages for spinner wings and dubbing!!
