  1. BigE, I can post the recipe, but my photographic abilities are poor, so there may not be any pictures :baby: Bud, thanks for the info. I'll do a search for that stuff and see what I can come up with. :headbang:
  2. I love those loop-wing CDC emerger patterns. Good job with that one FG!
  3. Does it take marker very well? What's the stuff called? I'm not satisfied with the scud back materials I'm currently using and I'm always on the lookout for better stuff.
  4. Glad they got there in good shape Spanky!
  5. Hey Bud. What "new scud back" material did you pick up?
  6. The bugs went out in the mail to you yesterday BigE. The extras are for you!
  7. Great job on that one flygirl. It will be a killer for the pteronarcys hatch!!
  8. That one looks like it will catch fish Dart! Might even be good in a Cajun shrimp boil . . . . . Spanky, mine went out in today's mail and are headed in your direction!
  9. The bugs went out to you today Justin. The extras are for you to get as wet as you like!
  10. Mine are done BigE. Need an addy to send them to!!
  11. Mine are done BigE. Need an addy to send them to!!
  12. That's not cheating what so ever. For example, I tie dozens of of 'food pellet' flies every year for Oatka so he can chase the hatchery trucks around. What's the issue . . .? Seriously, matching the hatch weather it's bugs, bait or vegetables is the name of the game. Seaweed flies for carp? Absolutely!! Glow bugs for steelhead? Wouldn't leave home without them!!!
  13. I'm in. Sandy bottom Scud.
  14. Vern-O, I haven't used llama fur at all for flies (I have a sweater though). I'm not sure what color fox brown would be either, but my guess would be a reddish brown. I do know that the beads are good quality and the service is excellent. Maybe you could be the one to test the llama fur for everyone . . . . .
  15. I second canadian llama. Great prices, excellent service and good shipping. Be careful with craft store beads. Most are not countersunk and many, many per package have burrs that will cut your thread in an instant.
  16. Nice flat-top pickin 6!! I made myself a promise to myself last year that I wouldn't get another fly rod until I had as many guitars as I have rods. I have 11 rods and only 5 guitars, so it looks like I have a ways to go on that one!!
  17. I'm in!! Rock roller czech :headbang:
  18. I got mine as well. :headbang: Excellent little bugs in there! Great job tying everyone!!
  19. Got them today!! Great flies everyone!! Thanks for hosting Dnthmn!!
  20. Oh man, that's an easy one: #16 PMD emerger. I'm in!!
  21. Got my flies today!! Thanks to everyone and a hearty 'well done'!! I was impressed with all the ideas and the wide variety of the materials used!
  22. Nothing at my end either. I guess the pigeons fly faster than the pony express rides . . . . .
  23. Good news about your father Dan!! Keep your chin up and tell your dad that we're all pulling for him!
  24. Sounds like a good time Mike. Hopefully I should be able to make the May GFP if I get my turkeys by then!
