  1. Which do you like best? My favourite is the toilet flushing! This article pretty much sums up both takes: http://flyfishing365.wordpress.com/2012/05/22/bass-poppers-porcelain-thrones-and-bowling-balls/
  2. Hey guys. Can't remember exactly when we did the surface water swap.... but I remember 2015 I caught a bunch of Australian salmon (kahawai) on the deerhair popper we got from it. Today... i had two of the poppers with me while I fished some virgining flood waters... thankfully I did too, because I happened onto a hot little surface bite on baby tarpon up to about 25 inches long (quite large for freshwater billabongs and creeks in these parts and great fun on the 2wt). Unfortunately I lost both to fish.... Thank you to the tiers!
  3. I wasnt sure if many people have tried this but, i have been making my own 3D prism eyes for pretty cheap. all you need is a hole punch, prism tape from the lure building section, ccg, and a sharpie for the eye pupils. first hole punch the tape then draw on some fish pupils, dab on the ccg cure it and your ready to use you own made 3D prism eyes.. way cheaper then buying 10 or so per pack all the time.
  4. I have been working on poppers. I sent a text to two of my friends here in PA. Would there be enough interest in doing a popper swap? Sooner of later it has to warm up. Kevin
