  1. Does anyone know of a tool or commericaly available jig template that can be used to bend hooks precisely and consistently? I often have a need to bend various hooks for certain flies, especially stainless steel hooks for spoon flies. I use pliers, but can't get a precise and consistent bend. I'm looking for some kind of a tool or jig set up that I could buy to achieve a more reliable way to accomplish a variety of hook bends. Any help/advice/ideas would be greatly appreciated.
  2. So i have these down eye hooks that are perfect for small streamers exept that i want a straight eye. So i got a pair of pliers and sorted that out. Thing is some of them break if I go too fast. thoughts/tips? Don't want to fill a box with defective hooks, but the ones that did't break feel sound.
