I have a template on my computer all I have to do is delete all but one of the previous swap.  Then I add the size and name and copy and paste until I have the number of tags needed.

I too have a template for toe-tags.  Just in case they came loose: Cencalfly - #12 Tupless Soft hackle

Started off with a PMD Cripple.  I always seem to tie a cripple so I wanted to do something different.

This swap was unique in that it prompted me to research some of my usual materials.  One thing that I learned was that Rayon is older than I thought it would be.  I guess the first commercial production started in 1891 in France.  This also got me looking into the magic dubbing material from a ram that's being prepared for Tupping.  Indispensable if you will.

No rams were accosted in the making of the dubbing I used. Hence the "Tupless" Soft Hackle. I did try to follow reasonably close the blend of materials.  The pattern essentially is a variation of Leisenring’s Tup’s Nymph from the "Art of Tying the Wet Fly.”  I tie the soft hackle a little denser than most.  I just like them that way. 

Materials: 

Silk: Yellow (Gutermann silk);  

Hackle: Very small light blue dun hen hackle or medium-dark honey dun hen hackle

Body:    Halved(ish): rear half of Belding-Corticelli yellow buttonhole twist; thorax or shoulder of medium red Golden Retriever, Natural Fisherman's wool, pink wool, and red wool spun on yellow silk

Tail:        Two honey dun hackle points

I Tied the Tupless using all natural pre-60 materials (except my Golden Retriever's hair and tying floss): The hook and feathers came from a lady that used to tie in the early days for Buz Buszek.  She passed away and her children gave me boxes of materials with Buz's hand written instructions for several flies.  Very thoughtful of them.  The materials are used sparingly.

Flies from the following tiers were unmarked as to the fly name.  Would these tiers be so kind as to provide the names of the pattern they tied?  Thanks!

Like so many of my flies it's not got a name for the world to know. They are just creations that come off my vise from the materials I have withing reach and fitting the description of the swap format. This one was just a hook tied up with some squirrel tail fur to imitate those little dark minnows darting around the shallows in every pool.

Just noticed this. Here you go. +Mine were a partridge and yellow. Or maybe Woodcock and yellow. Was going for a PMD soft hackle.

Sure. Lt. Yellow morus silk, peacock herl and woodcock(I think),size 18 or 16. Can't remember.
