niveker 0 Report post Posted June 3 If you enjoy trapping and are knowledgeable about prepping hides, go for it. Find yourself a little niche, and build on that. I have bought pelts and skins on the big auction site as well as that etsy site. There's some real crap out there, as well as real quality stuff, its not real hard to tell one from the other from only photos if you know what to look for, and once I find a good seller, I'll buy from them again. But Mr Deck is spot on, you won't retire on what you make, but if you can defray costs or maybe pay a bill here and there doing what you enjoy - you're doing aright in my book, and there's your retirement hobby/part time job.
