GFuchs 0 Report post Posted June 25 Yesterday I got rock snot on my boots and waders. As its technically an invasive species I don't want to unknowingly spread it when I go to areas it's not present. What's the best way of cleaning it off, don't know if cleaning draining and drying is enough as just one cell can infiltrate a large area? Would bleach and hot water be effective? partsman 0 Report post Posted June 25 If you go to anglers of the ausable or the mangled fly websites they the best recommendations for cleaning waders and boots. Rock snot has invaded the upper Manistee river here in Michigan and fishermen and women really need to take all precautions to stop or at least slow its spread. Mike. redietz 0 Report post Posted June 25 Bleach will work, as will washing in salt water.
