Thanks, good suggestion.  It doesn't really show up on the posted photo, they were pretty obvious on my screen before I uploaded them.

The wings are a struggle most of the time, occasionally I get lucky.    Using the sheer-er portion on the bottom of the quill really helps.

@ Flytier  Great tie as always.  Really love the design of the New England Counselor, probably protects the marabou and I'll bet it keeps fouling down too.  Pick a color to suit needs.  I'm filing this one away. Thanks for the introduction to the pattern.

First attempt at a mouse fly. I didnt bother to add eyes since I'd most likely fish it in low light or the dark.

Clown shoe caddis. Hot spot is too large - hopefully the fish don't mind.
