thread - Uni 8/0 light olive
tail - yarn flame/pheasant tail
rib - small wire gold
body - Starburst dubbing olive
hackle - olive
shoulder - pheasant rump dyed olive
collar/head - caribou dyed chartreuse (1 Tbs Rit Neon Yellow/1 cup water)

Tried a few things.  Wings cut from ribbon, foam.  Only dry I go to is a Humpy other than a hopper or foam stone in my travels which are mostly Ozarks.  Have used Griffith Gnats though.  Tied some for Grayling on our AK trip but didn’t get to use that I made the hackles outa deer hair and wings outa Kids hair fibers.  Can’t find pic except this box.   Wings are kinda secondary... my dry flying is very limited just gave the WWs a try.  👎

I got to three. I can’t do another. I don’t know how anybody can sit down and tie more then one or two at a sitting. I got a little aggressive with the marker on this one and hit the Wally wings a couple times by accident.

Made a few minor changes to Stan Headley’s original design.

hook - WFC Model 6 #10
thread - Uni 8/0 light olive
tail - yarn chartreuse
rib - small wire gold
body - Starburst dubbing olive
hackle - olive/dyed golden olive (2 Tsp Rit Golden Yellow, 1/4 Tsp Rit Camel/2 cups water)
1st shoulder - golden pheasant body feather red
2nd collar - pheasant rump dyed olive

Daughter asked why I never tie any pink ones…. She named it The Cotton Candy One.
