October Flies From The Vise

It's the Great Pumpkin Caddis, Charlie Brown

Actually, it's the October Flame Caddis Emerger  from Steve Bird's website, and slightly altered to materials at hand.  

Hook: #10 caddis

Thread: Brown 72D

Rib: Fine copper wire

Body: Australian possum dyed burnt orange with just enough gold Wee Folk Dubbing for a bit of shine

Thorax: Fluff taken from the base of turkey body feather dyed orange, in a loop

Antennae: 4 mottled turkey tail fibers, 2 per side

Wing: Gray squirrel tail, died orange

Hackle: Bobwhite back feather
