vicrider 0 Report post Posted October 4, 2022 Some time back I did a thread about Pirateship shipping. Not only is the average shipping of a bubble wrap envelope of flies a dollar cheaper with them they are NOT charging a surcharge just to screw us during the holiday season. You do not have to be a big user to take advantage of this and it's simple enough this 78 year old computer illiterate figured it out without any help from his son. https://www.pirateship.com/

Woodenlegs 0 Report post Posted October 6, 2022 Ok guys I just sent my steelhead flies out by regular post to CA and it was $5.40 per package. Went to Pirate ship and it says it would have been $4.12 per package a savings of $2.56. So I’m going to try it on the next shipment of flies Sports swap woodenlegs
vicrider 0 Report post Posted October 7, 2022 On a large and heavy package I sent to OR from OK to my daughter USPS would been about $56.00. Pirateship was $39.12. One thing I haven't figure out yet woodenlegs is how to send the inside envelope back to myself. What I've been doing is listing the size and and upping the wt. until it's a dime or so more than the one I'm sending. The label reads from me to me and if you don't juggle wt. to raise price it's not figuring from where the flies are coming back from. So far it's gotten me my flies returned but I'd like to able to list origin of return flies and then back to my address. Might just call them and check this out.
