If I am remembering correctly, the photo above is from Silver Creek, Idaho and the fish was caught on a Morrish Mouse pattern.

Nice mice / mouse rats.  I haven’t done one in years but pulled an old picture from this forum taken 7 years ago.  Didn’t realize it was that long.  I called it the p-51 mustang mouse rat.

Last time I fished the Henry's Fork the mahogany hatch was amazing.  From nymphs to dries fish after fish.

I never really see a big hatch of them on the rivers I fish here in MA, but starting sometime in June, I do see the occasional dun flying around, not on the water.  The nymphs seem to do well anyway.    They can get pretty big here.

They look good! Have you fished them? How have they worked?

I have never fished the moorish, true be told, I seem to fish one or two times a year and Steelhead is my passion

White Marabou Muddler

Hook-mustad 79580, thread- monocord, tail- white marabou torn short, body- pearl braid, throat- hot orange marabou, wing- pearl krystal flash & white marabou, head- deer hair spun and trimed (I like my heads large to push water, if I weight the fly I tend to trim heads cone shaped)
