Body:  deer hair, spun and trimmed

Legs: pheasant tail fibers, 4/side 

Head: deer hair, spun and trimmed

Thanks Sandan.  I'll fish it, but that's a bit too much work for me to tie regularly.  

My go to pattern for dragon fly nymphs is simpler, quicker, and buggy-er, IMHO.

Pimple popper frog

tail: olive bucktail and Krystal flash

body: tan foam under, green foam over

legs: silicone gold and black 

thread: 136d olive 

eyes: Googly 

might have oversized the eyes and I added a split to the bucktail 

 

staying with frog patterns next up is ….

Messinger Frog
