Thanks CP, I didn't think you'd mind.  I would have tried your original challenge, but have no decent substitutes for some of those materials.

Glad to hear you're getting out.

Not as bad as planned the painting of the dots is the most time-consuming should make a nice fishable pattern. referenced -Streamer Fly Tying and Fishing, Bates

Original pattern- head; olive green painted white underneath, tail; orange over black over white to imitate a brook trout fin, body; 3/4 white floss 1/4 salmon pink floss tied quite full with gold tinsel rib, throat; same as tail to imitate brook trout fin, wing; two grizzly saddles with two olive green hackles covering and painted with three alternating scarlet and yellow dots along the quill, cheeks; jungle cock eyes

my light pink floss deteriorated in my hand coming off the spool and was unusable, so I substituted hot pink giving the fly a uv pink hotspot, hope Mr. Oatman approves of the 2024 variant had a few issues with the dots bleeding (Sally Hanson used for dots and underside of head)

Next pattern keeping with streamer theme Oatman's Battenkill Shinner
