Trouttramp 0 Report post Posted December 8, 2022 ROYAL WULFF This is a fly I use quite a bit. I tie it in large sizes, 6-10, and use it for the dry fly in a dry/dropper set up. This fly floats well with proper floatent , it tends to ride low in the water which I like for an attractor pattern. This fly with a PT soft hackle dropper on the Firehole is my go to set up. Browns will hit this fly with reckless abandon. Hook size 10 dry fly 2x long tail - golden pheasant body peacock hurl and red floss wing calf tail Furnace hackle.
