Hook - Straight or Curved shank
Weight - Lead free wire (Optional)
Thread - Black
Tail - Green floss or uni-stretch
Shellback - Peacock herl
Ribbing - Silver wire
Body - Green floss or uni-stretch
Legs - Mallard, teal partridge fibers
 
Popular Fly Patterns - Terry Hellekson

I saw someone already tied this in the December page, I think he should post it here but if no one is taking it I’ll give it a go , best I could do with materials on hand

Undertaker challenge fly 1080.JPG

Undertaker 

Hook - Single salmon

Thread - Black

Tip - Oval gold tinsel

Butt - Fluorescent green floss, with a narrow band of fluorescent fire orange floss tied in front. 

Ribbing - Oval gold tinsel

Body - Peacock herl

Hackle - Black tied on as a collar and tied back and down

Wing - Dyed black squirrel tail tied over the body

May also be tied with black bear wing and brown grizzly hackle

hook: large gap is important 

thread: chartreuse UTC140 

body: white and green foam cut to shape* 

legs: barred green silli legs 

eyes: dollar store googley 

weedguard: 30lb mono 

 

* there is a specific cutter for this but I cut matching oval with a tail.
