It was in the 60's here in southern Ohio last Wednesday.  Got to 73 on Thursday ... then a high of 37 on Friday.  No precipitation to speak of, though.

We got probably the wettest & heaviest snow I have ever seen last night. Only got 4-5" but it's so heavy it was like trying to blow wet cement even with the snow blower. Lots of trees & branches down from the weight of it. about 210,000 without power again. Ours flashed a few times but thankfully stayed on all night.

You hardly use the heater.  Would you've even noticed if the power went out?

Just kidding.  Glad to read you made it through the storm okay.

I feel sorry for my Brother-in-law & Nephew. They lost power during the ice storm last week for over 5 days, it had just came back on Tuesday morning, and now they lost it again last night.

Ice is difficult, but I would rather have snow than hurricanes. I am hoping for a slow melt and we fill up the lakes and other low areas. We have at least another month of potholes before they can fill them. Several of our streets feel like driving on logging roads.

We are supposed to get 4 days in the 70s next week. Looking forward to the melt. Here is a picture in the backyard today.

Funny to see no leaves on the trees go from just buds to probably 50% leaves in less than 24hrs.

We had a quick thunderstorm roll through yesterday in the late afternoon, I swear the leaves on some of trees popped out before the sun set, it was like magic.

A bit later here but it is amazing how fast the hills turn from brown to green. It does seem like it happens overnight sometimes.

Well, I hit the runway at Sacramento Airport at 12:20 today.  Now it's a little after 6.

Actual temperature outside is 65°F.  But Californians "identify" it as 90°F so they can complain about climate change.

33°F here this morning with 59°F the expected high today.  Back to seasonal temperatures.

Was in the 80°F''s last week.  Low humidity so we didn't have to turn on the AC, just opened the windows.  Very pleasant.

Nutty weather but I'll take it.
