First Fly

This is my first attempt at a classic salmon fly. For sure not my best work. I will frame this one day to look back on my progress.

Been waiting for this! I can tell you’ve done your homework, tip, tag and butt are abit forward, which makes body a tad short BUT fly construction is nicely laid out It maybe type of hook, what is it, size?

CS6 3/0 Someone said something about the hook. I'm looking for a longer shank hook.

The journey has begun very nicely. Enjoy it. As @SalarMan would say, if I may use his words or paraphrase him,  it's not a sprint it's a marathon. Enjoy the journey and don't be in a hurry to "get there".
