Positive Feedback on the Recent Fly Fishing Show

Recommended Posts

I attended the recent fly fishing show today, and it was well-attended around noon. Although I wasn't specifically searching for bargains as I already have more materials than I'll ever use, I did find some valuable purchases, such as three Indian necks for wings on dry flies. The show had a variety of exhibits and fly tyers offering advice and demonstrations, making it an engaging experience.  speed test xender omegle

The casting pools were also utilized by many casters, making impressive 60 ft. casts into hoops. Overall, I had a great time and felt that the show was better this year than the previous year. If I had needed anything, it would have been the perfect opportunity to spend some cash.

What our Danish friend, is a bristle? Does it eat dry flies. Is it edible? Don't know the name over here.

Just taking a shot here! . . .

I thought a "bristle" (in Denmark/Scandanavia) was a type of worm that was particularly favored by Seatrout? . . .   I haven't been to Denmark in 15 years, but I seem to recall a friend there mentioning bristle worms used as bait (and representative flies) for several saltwater species.  I also think that the real critter can bite or sting (non-lethal)!

p.s.  I think they also can be found in some Florida waters, which is where I may have first heard of them (chasing bonefish, permit, tarpon in the Florida Keys).

Regards,

Nope... but I'm a saltwater guy down here in paradise (south Florida) so most of the freshwater stuff simply doesn''t apply... In the years I was a commercial tyer (at times filling orders for three different shops at the same time) i also worked every local show that would have me... Once or twice these included the Somerset Show (NY) and Red Stick in Lousiana - so I have maintained an interest in various fishing shows over the years... No, I'm not traveling overseas for any fishing shows - and probably never will.  One of these days though I'm going to be forced to quit guiding and might just come back to tying commercially so I try to keep abreast of current news...
