Often, especially on summer evenings around sunset, I see what I assume are tons of hatching midges disturbing the water's surface. I have a few bigger ones in my box but never fish them. Looking forward to hear the results.

Philly 0 Report post Posted March 23, 2023 Nice ties. I was wondering about the size. I'm sure trout size ones would work. I've caught sunfish on them when fishing my local creek for stockies. It's just PITA to dig the small flies out of them. I'll be going up to the Poconos for a few days fishing in mid-May. I'll tie some up and give them a shot.
