denduke 0 Report post Posted March 28 My Dede is the turtle whisperer....as well as Alpacas, etc. She’s on the road daily, outside sales and she always stops to save box turtles. Back in 2016-17 she picked up a couple and they ended up in trough on her back deck. Roadie was the first size of a quarter. The three that she ended up with in a cage on the ground edge of the woods. They stay buried except to feed and get in the water. Last fall she opened the door on the cage. They hung around. Freeman or Marion, I can’t tell them apart, tried to mount Roadie. Anyway they kinda left but come back to the feed occasionally. The wildest thing is Roadie was spotted in the chicken pen over a 100yds away. Amazing! Dede says Roadie recognized her…?😳 https://youtube.com/shorts/H7GftO-KbeE?feature=share https://youtube.com/shorts/RRdFY2Ur6Pg?feature=share
