May Flies From The Vise

Atlantic Salmon

Hook - Single salmon
Tail - Orange hackle
Body - Peacock herl over an underbody of tapered olive floss or yarn
Wing - White monga ringtail tied low over the body or substitute
Hackle - Yellow and orange tied on as a collar mixed and tied back
Monga ringtails are rare in Connecticut ūüėĀ so I substituted white bucktail

Hook - #6, curved 

Thread - Olive

Eyes - Black beadchain

Tail - Pheasant body fibers, olive

Weight - Lead wire tied along sides of hook shank

Rib - Olive wire

Body - Craft store chenille, brown/olive

Legs/Wing Buds - Pheasant tail fibers

Thorax/Head - olive chenille, small

Head and wing buds well coated with SHHAN

size 10nklinkhammer hook  punch yarn woven body. rubber legs, gold Angelina fiber thorax. on led dumbell eyes with flat eyes glued on.

I've gotten myself neck deep in these online courses....

Classes with homework are a whole lot more time consuming than I remember from way back when... Once I get my bearings there I'll get back to the vise.

That will most definitely take your time. Both python and javascript are really cool languages. Much easier than Java. If you have a chance check out typescript. It's strongly typed Javascript. It really helps get rid of runtime errors and it transpiles into Javascript. Have fun!!!

Excellent!  They're still teaching C.  Love that language.  One of my majors was Computer Science.  (My other major was Mathematics.)

Throat - Highlander green grizzly hackle tips (I used plain hen hackle tips)
