Rick

I'm not one to criticize, but they dont appear to be correctly tied "gimp" patterns

see here

from the book "Practical Flies and Their Construction" by Lacey E Gee & Erwin D Sias

Beadhead Biot Little Yellow Stone Fly Nymph

Tail: Cinnamon Peacock Flight Feather Biots*

Body: Cinnamon Peacock Flight Feather Biot*

Yes, that turned out nice, the first couple not so much. It always seems to take a couple of flies before I get a new pattern to  look right.

Cool nymph.
Wrapping that starling hackle isn’t easy.

General Stone Fly Nymph - Hughes took this pattern from Schollmeyer's Nymph Fly-Tying Techniques

Hook:: 3XL Streamer #6

Bead: 5/32" Black

Weight: .020 Lead Free

Thread: 70 Denier Black Ultra

Tail: Black Turkey Biots

Body: Black Angora Goat

Rib: Rust D-Rib

Wing Cases: Turkey*

Legs: Black Round Rubber

Antennae: Black Turkey Biots

* The flexament coated turkey tail feather used in this fly is about nine years (which tells you how little I have used it - still have about a third of it left) old and kept splitting on me. Which tells me that it is time to get new turkey tail feathers. Although, this one still works for Hare's Ear Nymphs.

Nice job on those #22's.  Took until the bottom of the Google search page until I realized what "mile fur" was, thought it was some kind of Cajun thing at first - LoL.
