I guessed closest to the number and have the opportunity to buy this Jimsflyco Ultra Select Hen Cape Lt. Honey Dun for $45 plus shipping.  Should I pull the trigger?

Very pretty cape, that's for sure.  Those smaller feathers look pretty sweet.  But I think it would depend on what you already have.  Personally, I think I would pass on it and save my money for another partridge skin.

I would buy that one. Cool looking feathers. With the price of feathers always going up…don’t buy it now regret it later?
 

Don’t mean to hijack the thread here, but when did Hun Partridge skins get so expensive? Looks like just south of 50$ for a good one.

That's a beautiful cape -- I'd pay $45 for it. Great for soft hackles, of course, but also both upright and "spent" wings on traditional dry flies.
