Yeah Mark, that one is a Zebra I tied just to do an easier one that fighting the wrapping of the flash. I think I have one or two I did with Pearl Mylar but that stuff was a disaster. The fine version curled up so bad when you cut a piece from the spool my shaky fingers just couldn't do the Mylar wrap called for so I went with the flash. My flies are always experiments in tying and then I figure out what looks good and concentrate on a limit of those.

It is getting to be swappin' time again for me, but...I think I'm going to sit this one out, too. I don't really fish nymphs, so I'd just end up with a box full of flies that won't get used. I am looking forward to getting into the swaps this fall and winter though.

I got six emerger styles ready to go but I'm going to wait until the sign-up closes later this week and if we end up with only 6 I worked up a soft hackle wet fly variant as well and will finish off a full dozen flies to send.

It’s looking like 6 is the number, we will wait till the 30th for sure But, I’m good with going with 6.
