Mark Knapp 0 Report post Posted October 30 J. Stockard just sent me a secret email about a Huge Vise sale they are having. I looked and I didn't see any huge vises, only the regular sized ones.😁 Besides that, my wife says I already have a lot of huge vices, I don't need any more. 🤣

I have a peak I don’t use I’ve got a Peak and I love how solid it is, I’m looking for a Renzetti Master someday down the road. I find the Peak does 16 -6/0 well but I have some feathers for Traherne patterns that go 9/0 or more and I’d like a vise I can leave a fly in whist I tie flies to fish with. The other factor is space for whatever you use for protecting the finish on the hook. The more the better and the Peak doesn’t have the space for multiple layers. That said, please, excuse my ramblings from deep down the Fly Tying rabbit hole. Gene L 0 Report post Posted November 2 I've bought my last vise. There are so many choices for fine vises I don't know what I'd buy...well, a Traveler, but after that? I had a Renzetti Master vise and it is a great vise. I sold it on Ebay and someone got a great deal. In all honesty, I didn't use the fine rotary ability of the vise. I have a 4000 and it does anything a Master did, which I don't use. I'm a vise collector, or was. My current vise I tie on mostly is the Xuron.
