Dry = Caddis/Stimulator depending on size needed

Wet = Conehead wollybugger or green-weenie

I could live with these flies for the rest of my life, but life would be boring.

Just wanted to say thanks all for all the patterns, all I need know is an American fly dictionary to find out what some of the flies are.............. :hyst: ...........some strange names there for sure.......but really thanks for taking the time out to respond.

It is strange being in foriegn country and fishing. I have fly fished lakes and rivers in England and Europe for years and am finding lots of new styles and techniques here in the States.

Thanks again all................. :)

PS....This one is for OLB.........I am assuming that Dynamite isnt the name of a fly......... :hyst:

:D Beadhead Woolly Bugger, black or olive for faster water.

Elk Hair Caddis for smoother water. Good luck.

Al,

I like the look of the Renegade! I did not know about this pattern.

Tied three (two 14 one 16) dry versions tonight. Plan to tie a few more Dry's and and few Wets. It is a relatively easy pattern to tie!

P.S. Enjoyed your article too! :headbang:
