GHow 0 Report post Posted January 10, 2004 I just caught the tail end. He was holding a slab bluegill in his hand just as it slipped back into the water and it went commercial. THEN here comes that Harley business... . Thought crossed my mind that he should have had a fly rod slung on the bike frame.....The FLIPPENATOR. After Walkers, the Spanish Fly had a great show with a couple of Blue Angels on board. Traded the Major a great sailfish experience (Jose thought he had a kingfish) for a ride in a F-18. The show ended with them being buzzed by the local squadron. Best I've ever had was a Cessna flying low up the river valley. COLD here in Connecticut. Five below this morning and yet 30 or so ice fisherman were standing on the water as the sun strated to rise! Not my bag. Football is about to start. Question to the board...Which of the group seems like he'd be right at the Patriot game tonight???
Guest Report post Posted January 11, 2004 I'll be getting up to watch the 'Gills! I caught Lindners Edge today for the first time in awhile. All I could think about is how gerat it is to see somebody work his(their) way up through an organization to the point where they can leave and do their own thing! He(Al) always gives a bit on the Bible or God at the end, and I really like that.

Jeremi 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2004 The best Walkers Cay I have seen was from 95' or 97'. Flip floated down a spring creek in Florida for bass. It was a two part episode. The second part I think is redfish at the end of the stream. The creek is one of the most beautiful streams Ive ever seen. I would like to get this one on the DVD's. Sorry, I went back and looked it up it was 1993.
Guest Report post Posted February 8, 2004 That wasn't a spring creek, it was the Withlacoochie River.
MIKE*A 0 Report post Posted February 10, 2004 I think i saw that episode......it was pretty good. Hey TB, Is that up in the panhandle?
Guest Report post Posted February 10, 2004 No, Mike not quite that far north. I begins in the Green Swamp in central FL and flows thru Hernando and Citrus counties and then into the Gulf. A real beautiful river, most of it in its natural state. A very productive bass and panfish fishery, big gators too, so wade fishing is not recommended.
