Guest Report post Posted January 11, 2004 i finally got to watch this show this morning. it was an interesting show based off of the espn outdoor games. kinda interesting, but something i saw really disgusted me. now dont get me wrong, i am not the perfect fisherman, but i try to protect the streams that i do fish, with an occasional forgetful moment. but to watch someone in this competition just break off a whole section of tippet from his line because he felt it was to light and just let it go in the water to drift off, just irked me. i cant believe he did that, and i think he was a guide too. is it really that hard to just coil up the tippet and place it in a pocket on your vest? i try to do this, and dont think i have left any line in or by the river (except for when i get snagged of course) in a long time. if they want to promote the sport they should put guidelines on stuff like that. sorry, just had to rant a little. kinda ticked me off.
