Hi everyone,

I'm frightened to say it but the computer is working.

Anyway here's a fly that I tyed for a work mate who owned a pair of Quetzal feathers so I asked him if I could tye the Blacker fly that John McLain had on his web site and promised him that I would give him the fly when it was finished.

I really enjoyed tying it I hope I have done it justice.

All the best Davie

...Well I think it's a load of old tosh McPhail … :)

Definately not the best Blacker fly I've ever seen - no siree bob.

...In fact I think you should give up and send all those hooks to me :)

Hi everyone,

I'm glad you like the fly, if I hadn't promised the owner of the Quetzal feathers the fly when I had tyed it I would loved to have kept it for myself, but a promise is a promise.

Dave, I hope to have a lot more hooks very soon....

All the best Davie

:) Spendid job Davie, as usual.....! what colors are those on the body hackle? And as an aside: have you worked with the Partridge long shank Dee irons with the small barbs? HE?...BE? something.

Splendiferous fly! Love the tinsel work as well!
