:D Ive got to admit, Arksa, I like the red fly better, but wonderful tie here. Really fine herl head!

I had a good peacock herl with long fibers. I just wrap it around the head area and used wet brush to force the fibers (or is the term barbules, can't remember) backwards. When the head was dry I used dry brush to "open" the head. Hope you understand?!

Nice fly beautifully tied. This fly would do well for big seatrout. It is like a "tuned up" March Brown.

A fine example of a lovely simple fly from Blacker. By the way I use the same technique for my herl heads. Great technique :yahoo:

You know what I think of Blacker flies and I think that this is an excellent but very simple looking fly, just beautiful.
