I still haven't recieved anything yet. Every email I've gotten said they were going to be sent out the next Monday or Friday. I'm about to give up. Hopefully I'll recieve them sometime soon. I too got concerneed on delay but Day5 let me know he's honorably slow so I waited and got my order cant remember exact time period but he was slow. I wouldnt hesitate to use him again because the material was great and some unique to him. Just have to order way before a trip if you plan to use the stuff. Hopefully I'll recieve them sometime soon. mine was quite a big order also and im still waiting and im getting really dont get me wrong i understand the guy has another buisness to run but it took me putting in a complaint to paypal to even get a reply from him , even one e.mail saying the stuff was on the way would have done me , and im still sitting here with nothing for my cash , if your going to run 2 buisnesses thats fine if you can get the orders out and not dick people around . i tie flys for a living and the guy could have made serious cash from me but im going to stick to my regular guy www.villagetackle.com (hes just building his site) now i order from him and it gets to me in scotland from the states in around seven days yes seven days folks so fly tyers dungeon has got no excuse. at least put a note on your site DELIVERY WILL TAKE 2 YEARS just so people know and day5flies if your going to recommend this guy like you did me and others please let them know that he takes a long time to deliver as its going to look bad on you my freind if it turns up i will of course post a reply sorry for the above rant but we are a community and if my and others misery can help someone else make an informed judgement then so be it mcfluffchucker (a cave in scotland) Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

He produces the items and retails it; A couple of guys do it all. If you are abroad: I am sure it will take a bit longer. He should come through: always has for me. You'll be happy with what you receive. He has some very interesting material--at a great price. Just be a little patient. Steeldrifter 0 Report post Posted July 31, 2006 Couple things I want to interject here. First- Theres no reason to say it looks bad on Day5. If Day5 has ordered from FTD in the past and they got his order to him in a timely manner then theres no way Day5 could have any idea how long it would take for them to ship abroad. Secondly- I personally have never ordered anything from FTD, but I know alot of people that have. Customer service is the cornerstone of a succesful business no matter how big or small that business may be. So if you went as long as you said without FTD responding to your inquirys, and then they only responded after a complaint to paypal and then didnt uphold their promise date....then thats not very good customer service IMO. And even though I know of 4 or 5 guys that have dealt with FTD and had great experiances with them, all it takes is one or two unhappy customers to spell trouble for a small business's name. mcfluffchucker 0 Report post Posted August 3, 2006 hi guys theres no way im putting any blame on day5 at all actually hes a really nice guy although the music on his website leaves a lot to be desired ha ha (only kidding) he obviously had good service from ftd and if he recommended anything again i would follow his lead so no fault at all on his part the thing that really annoyed me dispite the non reply to mails and the promised delivery date i lost out on a really big order for pike flys as i promised the guy the flys the week after i was supposed to get the order what would have been better for me when ordering on there site would be a note on the order page saying that this was not there main buisness and orders could take up to six weeks etc just so i knew and i could inform my customer of the due date on his flys. but as of now i still havent recived the order so ill just have to sit tight as a lot of you guys say it takes a while just wish id been informed by them tight lines all mcfluffchucker Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
