Some guys swear by them, some swear off of them. No doubt, you need good eyes, a steady hand, and even then maybe a threader. Some guys add tippet at home so they don't have to fuss over it on the water. Where I was fishing today I never used anything bigger than a 20, and my best producer was a #24 EHC.
