tightlines 0 Report post Posted November 4, 2006 So my first day out with the new wade boots (sims guide boots) and I miss stepped and dragged my cleats across the top of the boot. atroutbum2 0 Report post Posted November 4, 2006 I do construction work and im required to wear steel toed work boots. i use a product called Boot Guard. Its a paint on tar like substance that you put on the toe of the boot and its is designed to wear, saving the leather over the toe of the boot, so the steel toe wolnt show thru. . When it wears thin, just paint on another layer. It aint too expensive, a lot cheeper than a new pair of boots. But it makes the boots look like hell.
