Nick N 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2006 Look in a craft store for a little bag of foam cut iuts, shaped like bugs. I found one with dragon flys, beetles, and all sorts of stuff in it. Just dubb a body on a hook and tie on the foam body. The foam has wings and tail right there, and you can color them with markers.

longears 0 Report post Posted January 25, 2007 can you post a picture? I have to teach a fly tying class(es) at the local 4-H super-saturday coming up in Feb. and this might be something good for the 5th graders to do. Thanks

Nick N 0 Report post Posted January 28, 2007 most craft stores should have them, if they dont, they wouldnt be too hard to cut out with a pattern. You can really jazz up some of the dragonfly ones with some paint, legs, antellae, all sorts of stuff.
