essequamvideri 0 Report post Posted November 4, 2016 I made a mistake the other day and went grocery shopping hungry. When I got home I realized that I am now the proud owner of isle 4! Michael
mikechell 0 Report post Posted November 4, 2016 Wife and I make the opposite mistake. We always go to a restaurant before going to the grocery ... (Hey, grab a date where you can, you know) Anyway ... if we eat too much, we get home and realize we only bought cleaning supplies and cat food. Forgot all about the food for us. Hatchet Jack 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2016 A Wee Pig Story A man was on a long walk in the country. He became thirsty so he stopped at a little cottage and ask for something to drink. The lady of the house invited him in and served him a bowl of soup by the fire. There was a wee pig running about the kitchen, running up to the visitor and giving him a great deal of attention. The visitor commented that he had never seen a pig this friendly. The housewife replied, "Aye, but he's not that friendly. That's his bowl you're using." DavidR 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2016 With Christmas close upon us, I would like to share a personal experience with my friends about drinking and driving. As you know, some of us have been known to have brushes with the authorities from time to time, often on the way home after a "social session" with family or friends. Well, two days ago, this happened to me. I was out for an evening with friends and had more than several beers followed by a couple of bottles of rather nice red wine and a few tequila shots. Although relaxed, I still had the common sense to know I was slightly over the limit. That's when I did something slightly different - I took a taxi home. Sure enough on the way there was a police roadblock, but since it was a taxi they waved it past and I arrived home safely without incident. This was a real surprise to me, because I had never driven a taxi before. I don't know where I got it, and now that it's in my garage I don't know what to do with it. So, anyway, if you want to borrow it give me a call.
