Some size 26's

Recommended Posts

I saw some patterns online so decided to try a few things. I ma very new at tying so let me hear your critiques. Any suggestions at all would be great! These are all on some size 26 hooks I had. I tried some foam wing olives, a yelllow floating midge and a fistfull of something called the "Nothing" midge.

Chris,

You're just starting? You didn't start with anything easy, did you? You might want to start out with something you can actually see!

They look pretty good to me, what I can see of them!

I started this fall and have slowly been practicing when the kids go to sleep at night. I got the hooks for some BWO's I tied. They had a CDC post wing. THAT WAS HARD!. these are just small. Ill post as I learn more. Thanks for the feedback!

What do you do for a living? Cardio-Thoracic Surgeon maybe?

Either that or Eye Surgeon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For me, the worst part comes trying to find the hookeye when tying them to my tippet w/ cold numb fingers in 32° F weather!!!!!!!!!!
