sandflyx 0 Report post Posted March 2, 2004 Hello, new to this forum, although am on some others. Been fly fishin for 33+ years. I have fished all over the east coast and took a 30 day trip last year to fish out west. I am a fly tyin teacher and casting instructer at an Orvis store. Like to fish the beach and spend most days there. I am retired, and only work part time, so I get to fish at least 4 to 5 days a week. I am single with 2 grown kids who live away from home. ( is that silence ?) If anyone is headed in my direction feel free to contact me for places to fish sandflyx

Guest Report post Posted March 2, 2004 Nice to have you with us Sandflyx. I'm located in S.W. Pa just N.E. of Pittsburgh. I'm a member of the Arrowhead Chapter of T.U. and Tri County Trout Club. I've been involved with the PFBC KARE program fro several years. Our menbers put on 2 to 3 programs a year for kids. It surprises me how many kids still turn up for our programs. We keep hearing that kids today aren't interested in the outdoor sports but I see many who are. Hope to hear more from you. Keep in touch.

Bryanfly15 0 Report post Posted March 2, 2004 Welcome aboard sailor or should I say fishing monster. Fishing four to five days a week makes me jealous. Being single, fishing that much and having the experience that you do makes me say if I were a lady, I'd want to marry you. You will find happiness with these people who hang out here at this site. D. Waterflogger, did we chat already? I am a member of Arrowhead TU and I just resigned as President of Tri County Trout Club (birth of first child), but I am stilll a board member. It seems as though we should know eachother or do we? Our paths should have crossed somewhere or somehow. Sorry if we did talk about this already, I am getting old and forget things from time to time.

Philly 0 Report post Posted March 9, 2004 Fatman: Been meaning to ask where are you located in Vermont. My sister has a place on one of those dirt roads between Chester and Ludlow though the nearest "town" is Andover. I'll probably be up there late May, early June, and if work keeps blowing up my vacation schedule, sometime in July.
