Hook forming gone rogue

Recommended Posts

Greetings,

Figured I'd post this for a quick laugh. I was trying to form a wider gape and must have missed a bit on the softening process. I hit a brittle spot and wham!! This thing was buried in my nail behind the cuticle. I had to take a pic because it required a good pop from the pliers to dislodge. OH WHAT FUN. Later, Jamie

Tapering the shank should always be saved for last as Carne points because it is just as dangerous. Ask Piper to kiss it for you and quit whining! :baby:

Oh no, looks like you got lucky as the hook stopped there. Imagine sitting with that in your thumb in the hospital all afternoon

 Your not thinking of entering that thing in the "realistic" category next year are you, Jamie? :o :j_k:

Just kidding... I don't mean to make light of your injury. Man, that must hurt...

It's best to leave this hook making stuff to the professionals! :hyst:

On the otherhand, you may start a new body adornment fad! :hyst:

Funny thing about this is that it went in so clean. You notice there is no blood. It squirted blood when I pulled it out. LOL!!!! What a silly habit we all have. -Jamie
