Curtis Fry 0 Report post Posted February 21, 2007 In case anyone is interested, a friend and I did up a short video tutorial on a bullet head tool for tying up a Madam X. Anyway, if you like bullet head patterns, this might be of use: (FWIW, we're working on some video stuff for Griffin so that's why it has the logo up front -- this is not an advertisement.) Alex C. 0 Report post Posted February 21, 2007 Never heard of the tool before, thought it was more of a stensil for cutting perfect muddler heads. Although it isn't what I expected, I thought it was a cool video anyways and learned a couple new tecniques, which is always cool .

flyfishingtaz 0 Report post Posted February 22, 2007 the bullett tool is made out of plastic, with a rubber insert. Then as the video showed, it has a small, medium, or large hole in the middle of the rubber so you can slide it over the hair to make the bullethead. These are great flies to use. I like to tie em in wild colors, and occasionally tie em with foam so they float great. I'll try settin up the camera later and take some pics.
Curtis Fry 0 Report post Posted February 28, 2007 In case anyone is interested, I finished up the tutorial for the Logan's Foam Hopper. I had to break it into two parts because of the 10 minute YouTube limitation. Anyway, here are the links for anyone interested: Part 1: and Part 2:
